Description
This original, vintage chair is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, used condition. We have cleaned the leather upholstery and applied a leather balm. The original brown leather upholstery is in very good order. There are some very minor age-related wrinkles and lines, primarily to the cushions, as you would expect from a piece of this age, but its clear it has been well taken care of. There is a little discolouration to the brown leather on the arm ends / sides – again, this is to be expected as this area bears the brunt of the contact. The cushion zips work with ease and the inners are plump and in good order. There is a very small hole in the quilted finishing fabric underneath the seat cushion. This isn’t visible nor is it likely to deteriorate further. The frame is structurally sound and sturdy and it’s a comfortable, supportive sit with a sprung unit underneath the seat cushion, adding to its comfort. The rosewood legs are in excellent order with just some light sun fading. Refer to our photos to see accurately the condition of the chair. The original G Thams and Vejen Polstermøbelfabrik Furniture label is affixed to the seat of the chair underneath the cushions.
