Original Danish 1970’s Farstrup Chair in Light Tan Orange Leather #2

A handsome, low, bentwood chair in an unusual light tan / deep orange leather that hails from 1970’s Denmark and attributed to Farstrup Møbler.  A wonderful, light-weight lounge chair that can work in the modern home as a standalone seat or partnered with other seating. Its fluid, ‘open’ form means it is  significantly less bulky than a more conventional lounge chair, taking up much less space.  And of course, vintage, aged leather can be a hard-wearing, practical choice too. This is one of a matching pair that we currently have available. If you might be interested in both, do get in touch.

This is a used piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good condition. The chair has been thoroughly cleaned and the tan leather nourished. The leather is soft, supple and in good order. There is an area at the front corner of the seat cushion where is rather heavily wrinkled with deep grooves. These aren’t tears or holes but where the leather had dried out previously, the wrinkles have deepened. Please see our photo of this. The bentwood frame itself is sturdy and solid, with just a few age related surface marks.  We recommend you browse our photos   for an accurate sense of the condition. It has the original Farstrup Mobler makers label.
