This set of sought after Windsor Ercol Chairs are in immaculate original condition. The Windsor Quaker design was unveiled by Lucian Ercolani in 1957; these examples were produced by the Ercol’s Princes Risborough Factory in the 1980’s, where they. Ercol furniture has a formidable reputation for quality and classic design, and you can really appreciate this in the elegant design of these chairs, where comfort is an important as looks. Made with Ercol’s signature solid elm seat and with beech spindles and legs, the blond wood never goes out of fashion.
These chairs also come with the original Red Velvet seat covers (pictured).
We’re selling these as a matching set of four, from an original set of eight. The other four are also available to purchase.
These are vintage pieces that are ‘sold as seen’. They are in immaculate original condition. They have been thoroughly cleaned and polished. They are stable and solid, and the wood and finish on all is in excellent, matching condition. There are some very minor scuffs and marks as you would expect, but nothing that detracts from the beauty of these timeless chairs. Each chair has the original Ercol label and are are stamped on the base with Ercol’s British Standard mark.
