Vintage Danish Midcentury Rosewood Tiled Coffee Table
This handsome, vintage rosewood, tile-topped coffee table, imported directly from Denmark, oozes classic Scandinavian style. The beautiful, richly toned patina of the rosewood and the organic pattern of the ceramic tiles elevate this tiled table from kitsch to classic. The neat proportions and square shape mean this is a versatile piece that can either be a centrally placed coffee table in a lounge room, or a side table to accompany a favourite sofa or chair.

Description
This original, used piece is ‘sold as seen’. It’s in good, vintage condition. We have carefully cleaned this piece and applied a natural beeswax polish to the wood. It is solid and sturdy with no movement the legs. It has some minor marks and scuffs that would be expected on a piece of this age. There is some minor damage to the rosewood veneer along the bottom of one of the sides of the table – this is shown in our photographs. Unfortunately there is no maker’s mark on this piece and we are unable to pinpoint a manufacturer, but it has been imported directly from Denmark, and its design and build confirms that it dates from the 1960s/1970s.
