Danish Midcentury Brushed Aluminium Silver Spotlight Floor Lamp
This stylish Danish floor lamp from the 1970’s is in fantastic original condition. These lamps are wonderfully versatile, and its timeless Scandinavian design will suit any mixed or contemporary style interior. The original label on the inside of each lamp shade (pictured) confirms this is a Danish lamp with the name “Ejby, Fyn”. Having researched this we are unable to ascertain any further information as to who made the lamp, but there is a Town called Ejby, on the small Danish island of Fyn so we can assume that is where the lamp originates from.
The lamp heads are height-adjustable and the black plastic arms have two adjustment points so each lamp can be twisted vertically and horizontally. They have separate switches so you can opt to illuminate just one of the lamps if you choose. The stem is chrome plated metal and the brushed aluminium metal base is weighted for stability. This original Danish piece is in fantastic condition. It is a vintage piece however so there are minor scuffs – these can be seen in the photos, are minimal and do not detract from the piece. This lamp has been fully refurbished, rewired with braided fabric cable and has been PAT tested. As part of the refurbishment process it has been updated for the modern home, with independent switches for each light, a single UK plug and supplied with bright, energy efficient LED spotlight bulbs.
