Original 1970’s Norwegian Bentwood Chair with Tan Leather Cushions

We love these Norwegian bentwood lounge chairs. Their fluid, ‘soft’ design and striking frame means they are more compact than regular, bulky armchairs so they partner well with other seats and sofas without taking up space. This particular one features a slightly different frame configuration and we love the stitched leather cushions, a welcome change to the usual buttons.

Description

These is a used, vintage piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in good-to-very good condition. The chair has been thoroughly cleaned and the tan brown leather nourished. It’s soft and supple. There are some wrinkles and scuffs to the cushions, primarily on the seat cushion, but these are minimal. The finishing canvas under the back leather cushion has a small seam tear where it meets the leather but this doesn’t show, doesn’t bear any stress and we don’t believe will deteriorate. Please see our photo of this. The frame is structurally sound and sturdy. Sadly the maker’s sticker is no longer affixed but it’s highly probably this was made by Westnofa. Overall this chair is in good-to-very good order. Please refer to our photos for an accurate sense of the condition.
