Original Danish 1970’s Farstrup Chair in Light Tan Orange Leather #1
A low-rise, bentwood chair that hails from 1970’s Denmark attributed to Farstrup Møbler. These chairs are super comfortable and work in the modern home as standalone seats or partnered with other lounge furniture. Their fluid, ‘open’ form means they are significantly less cumbersome than a more conventional lounge chair. And of course, vintage leather is a practical choice for the busy household. This is one of a matching pair that we currently have available.
We can help arrange UK delivery!
This is a used piece that is ‘sold as seen’. It is in very good, vintage condition. The chair has been thoroughly cleaned and the tan leather nourished. The leather is soft, supple and in good order. There are some faint marks and wrinkles in line with its age and use. Refer to our photos. The bentwood frame itself is sturdy and solid, with just a few age related surface marks. Note: one of the bolts has ben replaced with a slightly different one. This isn’t visible as it’s under the cushion nor does it affect the chair structurally. Browse our photos for an accurate sense of the condition. It has the original Farstrup Møbler maker’s label.
